Communion Setup Reminders

Article Pic
  • MONDAY: Confirm who is serving.
  • SUNDAY: Please arrive by 9 am.

Sanctuary

  • FIRST: To help the choir, please move the communion table and chairs down front by 9:10am. This helps the choir a lot.
  • Please enter and exit the sanctuary quietly. Thanks!
  • Get chalice from back of sanctuary using key.
  • Put hymnal on each chair marking the last hymn by inserting a bulletin on that page.

Downstairs In the Activity Room Kitchen

  • Get BOTH KEYS for the downstairs cabinets.
  • See the detailed instructions posted on the bulletin board.
  • Trays are here in right lower cabinet.
  • Juice is in the lower-left cabinet.
  • Be sure to include rice cake or rice crackers for people allergic to wheat.
  • Decide who will serve the BALCONY.
  • Place bread and juice for the organist on the doily she sets out on the organ.

Clean-up

  • IMPORTANT: Please move table and chairs back up. We need the sanctuary to be set and ready for Academy Chapel on Mondays at noon.
  • Also, put the cross, Bible & Bible holder on table.
  • Please save bread & juice for home communion.
  • Communicate: Are we short of juice or cups? If so make note and TELL both the Deacon Chair and the next Communion Chair (listed above).
  • Return keys to their proper place.

THANK YOU!
